Vanessa is a Personal Chef based in Greater Boston. She left her job in April 2013 and by May 2013 she created a personal chef & event service company-Without A Measuring Cup, LLC.
In July of 2013, Vanessa was in a cooking accident and suffered 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns. This unfortunate accident has taught Vanessa many life lessons which she often discusses in her writing.
When cooking, she prefers using her senses to a measuring cup. Vanessa’s cooking style is best described as Mediterranean and rustic. Having lived in Spain for a year, there are few things that excite her more than a delicious piece of cured ham drizzled in fine olive oil.

In Case You Were Wondering…
Vanessa loves fresh flowers and foreign films. She has an an unintentional Moleskine library and National Geographic is her 2nd favorite website. She trips while wearing sneakers but she can do the moonwalk in 5 inch heels. In the 90’s, she won a Pog competition at a local mall.
